Hi my name is Laura. I've lived in many different cities and for the past 2 1/2 years my husband and I with our dog have lived in Eugene Oregon. Recently we have decided to move to Portland, where we will open up a brick and mortar shop called Made: indie craft boutique.

Made will be filled with the most wonderful local and regional handmade and upcycled goods. We will join the already thriving DIY community in Portland and become know as one of the best places to go if you are looking for that unique gift for yourself or a loved one. Classes will also be available for those who want to hone their DIY skills.

So what is this blog all about you ask?

Well it takes money to open up said shop and I am asking all of you...... friends, family and loyal readers to follow me in what it's going to take to get to Portland and open Made.
